Telkom ***** nightmare

I'm my opinion Telkom doesn't even deserve a one star. They are a horrible service provider. On the 16April 2021, I called in to Telkom to cancel my one of my contracts that I had with them. It was a 3G router 20GB SIM car. Immediately after canceling another contract was added into my account without my knowledge.

I only realize this in May when I received my invoice. I alerted Telkkm of the *****. I submitted all the required documents more than 6 times to different people. And yet Telkom decided to cancel the investigation claiming there were no supporting documents.

I appealled the outcome and they reopened the case. I submitted all the documents. The investigator decided to close the case claiming that I was the one who took the contract. I asked them to provide me with proof to say I signed for the delivery and they gave me a delivery receipt from Sell Direct date 2020-03-06. I asked for the audio recording which even today they have not provided.

I then took the initiative to call Sell Direct and enquire about the particular number in question. They indicated to me that they have no record of me taking the contract with them which include that particular number. They gave me the voice recording of all the contract I have taken with them.

I sent the documents to Telkom and still I was not getting any joy. The level of horrible service I received from Telkom will be forever be in my mind.

I would like to say that Telkom investigating team is horrible and they have no clue of what investigation is. They jump to conclusions without following facts.

It was only later that one gentleman by the name of Nkanyiso Mazibuko answered my call and listened to my story properly. We went through the investigator's report and found discrepancies. The serial number on the delivery note that he was using as proof did not correspond to the reported ********** number. Which means that delivery note was not for that particular number.

What a nightmare I had with Telkom. I want nothing to do with them ever again.
