TELKOM ***** MUST BE DEALT WITH

I just want to say tat telkom is the worst cellular service providerin this country. When I signed up over the phone it was all bells and whistles. The agent tod me this Telkom Freeme product was the best thing ever. First realization that it is **** is when I tried to call landlines and most of the landlines are not on Telkom anymore because there service is **** so that 3000 minutes per month allocation is just nothing really. Rather give me 300 minutes I can actually use than worthless ****.

Secondly when you sign up they give you 10 gigs per month of free data. They did not tell me that you can only access that free data by going to a Telkom hotspot. You the customer must now use your valuable time to find out where the nearest hotspot to you is because the Telkom agents can't assist you in this regard. Another part of the Freeme that is worthless ****.

I thought Freeme would be the one product rhat will finally enable me to end all hassles because every person is not on the same cellular network. You can still only call Telkom numbers. Must I now ask all my contacts to switch over to Telkom?

The worst of all where Telkom is concerned is that they act in bad faith. When I was sold this package nobody told me that if for some or other reason that my debit don't go through they will slap me with an amount of an additional R202 for every debit that don't go through. This is bad practice because I have a contract with Vodacom and had one with CellC. If a debit don't go through u just can pay it within 7 days with none or minimal penalty. This is not right. So for every R119 that don't go through I have to pay R321. Is this fair. I'm sure I'm not the only one because their call centre agents say there is nothing I can do and that I should not compare them with other cellular providers. Is this fair though?
