Telkom *****.
On the 7th on December got a message from my bank saying that my account was in arrears for a certain amount and when I checked I picked up that Telekom was trying to debit me. I then called Telkom and I spoke to a lady called Nokubonga who opened up a ***** case and gave me a case number, she then advised that she'll cancel the debit order on her side and she also advised that I would get a call in 72 business hours which never happened.
Called Telkom again this morning as my account was debited again, spoke to a lady called Nokubonga who advised that debit orders cannot be canceled up until the case has been resolved. I then requested to speak to her manager Pinky Ntombela, who then advised that she's going to escalate the matter to the ***** department again, but then she couldn't give me a turn around time for someone to call me from the ***** department. I then told her that I need the funds back into my account today for legit debit orders to run from my account.
I'm not happy as I will keep been debited for as long as the case has not been resolved, I also said to Pinky that for every transaction that is unsuccessful I'm been charged by my bank and who then is reliable for those transactions. I mean getting to consultants that are giving me a different story. One saying the debit order will be canceled and the other saying that it's not gonna be canceled. What I aslo don't understand is that why is no one from Telkom calling me to verify such instead they just too quick to run for sales instead of doing proper investigation.
