Telkom for life...they say 3 months to cancel because you forget about it, then telkom carries on billing

Telkom makes it impossible to get out of contract. After 4 years of good, reliable internet service from Telkom, I needed to terminate my internet services.

I went to a Telkom Shop. They made me go to their computer at the shop and cancelled my contract.

I was told , it takes 3 months for Telkom to stop the debit order, and they will reverse the 3 months charges. All fine , thats what I did.

My sim card was deactivated.

However, the debit orders did not stop.

Now telkom is telling me to cancel my contract again and then to wait 3 months.

So telkom is going to take 6 months and there is no guarantee that my account would be cancelled

BOTTOM LINE..., With current state of Telkom, do not enter into new contract, because difficult to get out

And if you with Telkom, congratulations, you stuck with them for life
