Telkom Fibre Internet not working

17/5/2019 I app**** to upgrade my ADSL internet to fibre internet. I signed the contract after being told by the agent that the fibre internet be working within 10 working days. 24/5/2019 Fibre line was installed by Link Africa and I was told by Link Africa that the line would be ready for use after 2 working days. 28/5/2019 I received the router via a courier. At 6:30pm I received an SMS informing me that the service line was ready for use and that I will be billed pro-rata from 28/5/2019. 29/5/2019 I phoned Telkom Technical Support and obtained a Username and Password but I was not able to connect and I was told the line had not yet been activated and that I have to phone Sales and ask them to activate the line and then come back the Technical Support. Sales told me that they were unable to activate the line and told me that I must go back to Technical Support. I went back to Technical Support and told them the story and they said they would look into the matter and phone me back. Later in the day they phoned back and told me that they had logged a fault on my behalf. 31/5/2019 A Telkom technician phoned me and told me that he could not do anything about the fault because the line had not yet been activated, but that someone will phone me about it on Monday 3/6/2019. 3/6/2019 Waited all day and no one phoned me. 4/6/2019 So now I have a line that can’t be activated because there is a fault and the fault can’t be fixed because the line has not been activated. I phoned technical support again. The consultant took me through the router configuration again with a new password. No luck. She said she updated my fault report and told me I just had to wait for a technician to contact me. She could not give me any indication of how long I would have to wait. I asked what exactly the fault was and I was told “It’s not authenticating”. 10/6/2019 Still waiting. I don’t know what to do. It is a waste of time phoning Telkom Technical Support; they just go through the same procedure every time and in the end are unable to help.
