Telkom Faults 23CWK280117, 253CWK030217, 161CWK070217

Telkom not wanting to accept responsibility for their aging infrastructure causing speed and connectivity issues for users in the Protea Heights Area. After numberous request to Telkom to please bring this under the attention of the Area Manager for Brackfenll, apparently e-mails have been sent to this person, however they don't seem to care to resolve the issues for us users in the area. The cable runs are insanely long and the only really solution would be for Telkom to install and MSAN closer to us to shorten the local loop to our houses. Surely the amount of users in the area that I would estimate in the region of 400 paying a monthly rental for ADSL and Line in excess of R400 per month = R 160 000 per month. Surely there is some money there to give clients the service they are paying for?

Please can a senior person in Telkom contact me so we can put our area on the map for the desperately needed upgrade that we require. LTE is not an option in the area as people had to return their LTE equipment due to singal issues.

Regards

Ditiaan Moller

Reviewer Update

OK 5 months later and no reply from your ADSL team. You can also now add the fault number to the mix as well. Currently again sitting with unusable Internet. 752CWK190717
