Telkom False web-only adverts

Subscribed for a online (web only) Chinese new year special in Feb 2019 - with a Huawei P30 lite, Chinese new year gift & Huawei Earpods. I received each item piecemeal over the next few month i.e. 1st only the phone arrived - then after complaining I received the New gift only, and thereafter even after complaining about not receiving the Earpods - it never arrived. It is now 20 months and Telkom now claim there was NO such special and require me to provide the proof (advert). (P.S the advert was on the web page and special related to ONLINE only - not available in store or printed advert- I would have taken a print screen as proof had I known about Telkom deceptive practices). Further, the package included 2 gb data and 100 all net minutes (monthly) with unused minutes & data carried over for 30 days. From 3 months ago - Telkom stopped carrying over my unused minutes. NO amount of complaints has had any effect. Telkom simply says that there were NO earpods advertised and that the contract does not include carry over minutes (although I supp**** this proof to the contrary). Be careful - Telkom cannot be TRUSTED - their advertised SPECIALS are NOT TRUE specials and it is impossible to obtain a response or have issues resolved as complaints go into a call center and novices end up responding. Rather spend the few rends more and contract with Vodacom or MTN, who honor their commitment, as in reality you will be saving. This is besides the poor quality of their network. BE WARY
