Telkom false advertising / ****

I specifically waited for the black Friday deals to get a really good new cellphone contract deal. Telkom advertised a double deal 2 x Samsung A33 on the flexon 2 contract for R389pm. I signed up for the deal, being told that there was ample stock. It was a business contract. They claimed that they could not find my business registration number on the CIPC database and therefore my contract was sent for review. After waiting for over a week, i discussed yet again with the salesperson, and she tried entering my companies old (no longer valid) company registration number, then the application went through, however now stock was out. I waited patiently to keep being told its on back order. Finally, after waiting very patiently, on the 10th of January, i was informed that the phones were discontinued and they could no longer offer me the deal.

The application was delayed because of Telkoms own incompetence and no fault on my part. I therefore find their advertising to be misleading, and frankly a ****!
