Telkom fair usage will kill netflix

We have a 4Mb Telkom line for a little under 2 years, largely without issue. Getting support is sometimes tricky as 10210 often takes almost an hour to answer. We started Trialing Netflix on the 7th of January and all went well until Sunday (24th Jan 2016) when it went wrong.. Color me confused. Logged a self service ticket on Monday morning. Heard nothing all day. Called 10210 Monday early evening, spoke to a consultant who had me reboot the router and run various tests. No joy. Tuesday during the day the ticket I opened on Monday was resolved as closed. I tested still awful, download speeds of 0.25Mbs. Phoned 10210 again who went through similar steps and they logged a new ticket. I phoned again in the early evening after seeing a notice on the usage platform about FUA being active. I'm am dumbfound that I'm paying R800 a month with additional uncapped add on only to find that apparently Telkom caps at around 230GB and on traffic like Netflix. No notification of the FUA and not noticed by any support. 90% of our usage would be Netflix, but Telkom's monopoly doesn't allow for something that has been around for years. FALSE Advertising. Uncapped. IT's 2016 Telkom!!
