Telkom fail to cancel account after numerous requests, keep on billing.

I had a Telkom LTE contract from January 2016 to December 2017 (2 years).

- I requested that my contract must not be renewed on 5 Desember 2017. - Contract was suppose to expire on 31 Desember 2017 as per original contract. - Went to Telkom Eikestad, Stellenbosch and completed a cancellation form on 12 February again because debit orders kept going of. - Phoned Telkom after more than 21 working days on 16 March 2018, they told me it will be cancelled before end of the month. - Phoned telkom on 23 March 2018 to made sure account is cancelled, customer care said there is no record of cancellation and I must mail ********** the cancellation form and she will escalate it to get it cancelled before the end of March 2018. - Debit order once again went off on 3 April 2018.

For 4 months now, i have paid for a service which is not in use and which I requested to cancel 3 times. My 2 year contract have expired and Telkom just keep billing me. That is R357.00 x 4 = R 1428.00

Please stay away from Telkom, they set their contracts up to just keep on running after the expiration date. The cancellation process does not work and they make it hard for you to cancel the account because the longer they stretch the cancellation process out, the longer they can bill you for.
