Telkom extremely slow internet service

We have been with Telkom on ADSL for the past 20 years, and since moving to a small town the service has got worse. So I phoned Telkom and their reply was that 5 Mbpps was what we were paying for. I am now unable to submit Ufiling or Ters applications because the connection is too slow, and there is no support from Telkom. Shocking for a company to be so complacent.
