I had my debit order rejected due to our Salaries being paid a day later, and when i tried contacting Telkom for my outstanding amount they told me it was R453.44.So i asked the consultant why is it so much and she said your debit order amount was R252.50 and Debit order rejection Fee is R200.94.How riduculous is that. Not only do i have to pay my bank for the rejection fees i must also pay Telkom. And the amount is almost the same as what i owe.My contracts came to an end early this year so i called to cancel and Telkom advised me that i could keep my numbers and go on a month to month basis where they provide me with so much airtime and data etc. , at that time it seemed reasonable and i stayed with them. This is absolutely ridiculous, Telkom was not the only debit order that was rejected, how come no other Service providers charge us for debit order rejection fees. So now we pay Telkoms bank charges also.******ION!!!!
