Telkom Express Fourways Horrible Service

I went to Telkom Express Fourways mall branch today at around 17:40hrs, I left the shop wondering why I had decided to go in in the first place. I was interested in the deal that I had seen advertised on TV the previous night and the deal seemed better than the one I have with MTN, so I decided to go to the shop soon after work so that if it proves to be any better, I would cancel the one I signed with MTN and take this one with Telkom.

Its the 10GB data deal for about R135 per month.

I got to the shop and was met by a very friendly assistant, a gentleman, and I then told him that I needed to know more about the deal, he then directed me to a sales consultant, it was a lady, I did not get her name, she was stationed on the desk that's on the far left as you enter the shop. when I approached her, she was sitting in a very relaxed position holding her phone high up enough to almost cover her face, I stood there for a moment waiting for her to acknowledge me, but to no avail, the gentleman that had greeted me earlier asked me to take a sit in front of the lady, I sat there and waited for her to at least greet me, she just simply turned her face towards me, and I was not sure how to proceed from there.

I then greeted her and she just responded with a simple 'yees......' It was at that moment that I felt I had committed the worst crime by choosing to come to this shop.

I then proceeded to state my story, I told her that I wanted to know more about the deal, and noticing how reluctant she was to serve me, I structured my questions to a simple yes or no answer so that she would not use up the last of her energy that she seems keen on preserving.

I asked her if the 10GB was to be broken down to 5GB day and 5GB night, and sure enough she responded with a simple "mhmmm......"

I thought to myself that I had driven from Brynston where I work to fourways to come and get a simple 'mhmmm' from her..........surely of all the worst decisions I have ever made, this one takes the cup.

I just said 'owkey....' and I left the shop with my tail between my legs...

what was I thinking.........

I did not get her name, but she looked like she was a bit short and a bit dark in complexion, and was sitted on the far left as I entered the shop.

This can not be acceptable by any standards!
