Telkom exchange modification causing me to re-apply for ADSL

<p>How on earth is it possible to "lose" your ADSL component on your landline you ask? Well, trust Telkom to ***UP in such a way.</p> <p> </p> <p>The story starts 08/02/17 when I noticed my internet is not working. I call MWEB (my ISP) and they confirm the see there is a 2nd number listed on my account (line). Also, I was informed to call Telkom to have this corrected as it is a crossed line issue.</p> <p> </p> <p>I call Telkom, they confirm it IS a crossed line issue and it is being attended to (a fault is logged). Now to cut an EXTREMELY long story short, after mutliple calls to Telkom to conduct a follow up, 2 WEEKS (YES, 2 WEEKS) later the issue of the crossed line is resolved. Low and behold, I am all jacked up to get home and use the internet again, to my (sarcastic suprise) amazement NO INTERNET.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is where it gets interesting, I call Telkom and after 4 years of ADSL service - THERE IS NO LOG OR TRACK OR EVEN A ****ING TRACE that I EVER HAD Internet with Telkom!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>How the hell does that happen? Well, apparently I have just been paying for **** ALL but getting internet. It is not as if Telkom is the ONLY company that supp**** ADSL to customers but the are the only one who supplies the LINES. Who else installs lines to use internet? The landline/adsl/fibre INFRASTRCUTURE of SOuth Africa is managed by Telkom. But no, I am certain I got drunk one day and hacked some poor souls line so I could use his details...oh...and I am that good that internet which I paid for I was able to avoid really having for 4 years.</p> <p> </p> <p>So Telkom, are you going to refund me the R13000 you owe me over the past 4 years that I have NOT legitly had ADSL?</p> <p> </p> <p>Wake the **** UP and sort this problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
