Telkom employs ********** advertising and bait marketing

Telkom is employing false advertising and bait marketing for their mobile offerings. Two years in a row now, when my contracts were were due for renewal I went to the stores with the device in mind that I would like to have, as ADVERTISED on their website and in the catalogues. only to be disappointed in the lack of stock and inability to even tell me when they would get new stock, in the same week that the catalog got released. They would then assure you that they have stock of their most expensive devices and try to sell that to you, or locking you into a contract with a cheaper, unsatisfactory device.

If you do not have stock, you shouldn't advertise it and recall the brochures. The stock shortages started before the release of the brochure, which is even still available online.

This is ***** and I am considering taking them to the consumer protection commission for ********** advertising.
