Telkom Emergency Top up is the worst

Emergency Top Up is a ****. You can't convert it to data. Apparently it's only for voice and sms. How can Telkom limit the way I use Airtime that I must pay back with interest. That is very unfair. I can't get it reversed either. Surprisingly the terms and conditions state and I quote "Emergency Airtime can be used for any transaction on the Telkom Network. i.e. Voice, SMS or Data.". I guess that's not true though.
