I am utterly appalled and deeply angered by the experience my parents endured at Telkom Eastgate. On Black Friday, a day already notorious for its chaotic and often misleading sales tactics, my parents, who are trusting and not tech-savvy, were grossly misled and ****med by a salesperson at this store. They were coerced into purchasing a mobile phone that was not only unsuitable for their needs but was also grossly overpriced. When we realized the deceit and contacted the store to request a refund, our pleas fell on deaf ears. The store blatantly refused to offer any form of compensation or rectify their deceptive practices. This is not just poor customer service; it's a clear violation of consumer rights and a blatant disregard for ethical business practices. I am shocked and dismayed that such predatory behavior is allowed to persist. This incident is a flagrant breach of the Consumer Protection Act, and I urge potential customers to steer clear of Telkom to avoid falling victim to their ************ tactics.
