Telkom - down and out in Bashewa

We are a business situated in Pretoria Far East, Bashewa. We have Telkom LTE Internet and our business are completely reliable on internet to operate daily. Since 14 November 2019, our service has been off in the area due to the LTE towers not working. I have lodged a case and requested for a technical team to attend to it: ***3.

It’s Wednesday 20 November 2019 and still the services is off. I have phoned in again to be told that the issue is being escalated and technicians are responding to it.

I find it unfair that our daily business activities have been on halt for a week now and we are still paying for a service that we are not getting. Seems like Telkom is in the same boat as Escom. You pay but they’re off and not working.

I demand an answer and compensation for incompetence on their behalf as we watching paint dry in anticipation for them to deliver on their basic service.
