Telkom dont WANT to HELP Canceling Telkom accounts if people cannot afford to Pay!!

Unable to get any help from Telkom to cancel account told them we cannot afford to 50% for them to even consider cancelling it was contacted by the following lawyer Mrs. PH ELS Your Telkom acc: ********** 13 has been handed over to Nicholas Ngwenya Attorneys for collection. Please make an immediate payment of R5099.52 directly to Telkom and email / fax proof thereof to ********** / ********** 542 or contact us at ********** 997/8 we emailed them this on the Jan 22, 2019, 1:12 PM with no reply and today we got another sms :( Mrs. PH ELS. Please urgently call us on ********** re your Telkom account. Nicholas Ngwenya Inc Ref TSN1788 This is what we emailed them!!!

I have been trying to get Telkom to cancel my line for months as we don’t even have a Landline or ADSL installed at my residence sins 18/11/2018 they are Welcome to come out to confirm that. Open Serve removed the Cable running from the pole to the House when my Husband got the Fibre installed at my residence on the 18/11/2018 and our ADSL has been disconnected for at least 2 months prior to that!!! As I could not afford it anymore as my Husband is unemployed at the moment and we went for cheapest option after being offline about 2 months, I Did contact Telkom and informed them of this and asked if they could please cancel the Landline and ADSL but they just did not care they did say we need to pay 50% percent of owing amount but told them we cannot afford it I think bill was R2700 at that Point they did say only after we have settled the account then only will they cancel the Telkom account!! Then we can file a dispute for charged to account after for not being online 2 month and sins Open Serve removed the Telkom cable from Pole the 18/11/2018, So just to clarify I cannot and is unable to pay the R5099.52 due to financial reasons Telkom is asking as that amount does also not reflect the true amount and services given to me by Telkom either being offline or the cable being disconnected from my premises but if Telkom cancels the NON working account I am willing to come to some sort of arrangement to pay off the outstanding amount and can only afford to pay R200 per month but as soon as my Husband gets employment we will then increase monthly payment to settle the account A.S.A.P!
