Telkom doesn't deliver on advertised speeds
We have had an ADSL line since about August. It is meant to be a 10Mbps line.<br> <br> I have regularly tested line speed and NEVER get better than the below results:<br> Download Speed: 5254 kbps (656.8 KB/sec transfer rate)<br> Upload Speed: 508 kbps (63.5 KB/sec transfer rate)<br> Latency: 21 ms<br> <br> The stats on the line are consistently as follows:<br> Upstream noise safety coefficient(SNR) (dB) 12<br> Downstream noise safety coefficient(SNR) (dB) 13.2<br> Upstream line attenuation (dB) 19.5<br> Downstream line attenuation (dB) 31<br> Upstream output power (dBmV) 3.4<br> Downstream output power (dBmV) 7.5<br> <br> Why Telkom, WHY?<br>
