Telkom does not want new business

On Friday04/03/2022 I upgraded my contract on line. Then I received a sms saying my upgrade was approved and a call centre agent will call me to finalise the process. On Tuesday 08/03/2022 I dis not receive any call, I called in, the first lady told me her system is off line she will have someone call me back, the scond lady said there was nothing on her system about my online upgrade and I should call for new sales. I called and went through the whole process after being told that the iPone 13 which I wanted is only available in space black. So I said its fine. Then after the whole process the lady told me there is now no stock....

How can the whole of Telkom SA be out of stock of a very standard phone and why should I go through so much trouble just to upgrade. Seems to me Telkom does not want any business. Really horrible service in this day and age.
