Telkom does not give any service to its loyal clients.

My data line contract came to an end - so i called Telkom to cancel the line on the 01.10.2018. They told me to go on line and complete the cancellation - i did that with them assisting me. I received an email that the request was logged and gave me a reference number ********** 7 for Telkom line ********** 148. The line was to end on the 31.10.2018 - it did not and the money was taken of my bank account again for the line rental. I called them and they said that someone will call me to cancel the line. NO one ever called to cancel the line. On the 30.11.2018 the money went of again from my bank account for the line. I called again and still the line is not cancelled and that someone is going to call me to cancel the line. Once again i paid for a line that is not in use. This is now the third (3) month that the line is still not cancelled when i did what was requested of me and NO ONE has called to date to cancel this line that i am paying for. Telkom does not give any service to its clients and you are merely a number on their system. I have another 3 data lines and 3 cell phones that i am definitely going to cancel as this is not the service that i was promised. It is ***** to deduct money from a persons bank account for something that was cancelled and confirmed cancelled. I receive daily telephone calls from Telkom to renew my other contracts that are all up for renewal now in December 2018. They have time to call you for renewing your contracts, yet they do not have the time to cancel a line no longer in use. If this line ( ********** 148) is not cancelled by Monday morning 17 December 2018 and my money refunded, then all the contracts will be cancelled and any debit on my Bank account will be rejected. I hope that i have made this now clear and that someone is going to take the time to give me the service i was promised and paid for. Very disappointing consumer. We have many service providers for Cell and Data contracts, i do not need to be with Telkom for this.
