Telkom does not deliver on special offers

I have avoided the Telkom service for 10 years because of my family's awful experiences. Unfortunately I am pressed for internet and my area does not yet have fibre. I hunted high and low to choose the best offer, Telkom was running a big special and so I opted for them. However they have only delivered on half of this special. The big data special was an uncapped package with a free modem, a range extender and a smart tv box. They only delivered on 1/3 of this. The technician that FINALLY came out after practically begging and hounding telkom, asked me for a modem. He didn't arrive with mine. He did eventually bring one. Several calls to Telkom later and I still do not have the range extender or the smart tv box. And of course no one cares to follow up with you as to why not. So I guess I will have to make my 100th call to Telkom customer service/sales, be put on hold for an hour minimum, to only be made more empty promises no doubt! Just started my contract and counting the days to terminate it! NEVER AGAIN!
