telkom does it again

I work from home and require my line to be working in order to do my job. On the 15th I was looted in and all of a sudden no connection. I called in and logged the query immediately. This forces me to have to go into the office which is extra cost of fuel and to pay a helper to watch my kids. Well found out whole area was down as I have a friend that lives a street away who also works from home and my mum. Called everyday yo check what's going on. Been told its been escalated but that's probably a lie too. Called in on Tuesday for my mums line and hers was restored on Wednesday. A friend that lives a street away was connected on Thursday. Why do I still have a dead line if I'm in the same area and just a street away. Obviously we all use the same cables that were ****** and is now replaced. I cannot get any answer as all they can say is a technician needs to come out. When would this become a priority? The fact that li reported my fault exactly when it happened and still have an issue should be escalated and its now almost a week and with absolutely no feedback from Telkom.
