We recently had issues with our ADSL line, which were down from 10 June till 24 June.. ...

Wow it only took x14 days to fix the problem.. now x10 days later the same problem.. No ADSL, no indication on what is wrong... no indication when it will be resolved.. just the following..

Type of update: Telkom has assigned the fault to the local technical team for action in the next few days. When there are faults, the technical teams frequently face a high work load in affected areas. It is not possible to say when they will schedule action on this particular fault. It is however, on the list of things that will be attended to in the course of business, generally within the next week.

Telkom is the only company I am aware off that has the Luxury to have an open ended repair cycle, which does not need to give any indication what is wrong and or when it will be fixed. Nor can yuo trace progress on the issue .. answer is only... in progress.

Sure there is somebody at telkom that cares what their clients think/experience ..

For sure as soon as I can I will ditch them without blinking an eyelid.

Frik
