Telkom disgusting service

We have been Telkom customers for more than 20 years. We were recently contacted to switch over to the new wireless landline telephone, which we have gladly accepted. The courier had delivered the phone on Monday the 29th October 2018. We had connected everything up as per the instruction manual and even contacted the call centre to activate the sim card on 081 180. I was then told to contact 10213 followed by option 1 and then option 2. I gave the call agent my details and she said the sim would be activated in 24hrs time. Guess what 24 hrs had passed and still, no active landline number. I then called again and wasted R110 worth of airtime as no consultants were available. I spent an hour hanging on the line. I contacted the Call center again on the 1st November 2018 on 10213 and Nompulelo took the call. She took all my information and said she would forward an email to the relevant department. I even asked for a reference number for the call and was told that this is not a sale so no reference exists for this call. Once again no active landline number. You might as well take your landline number and telephone back and we might as well cancel our telephone number which we had for the past 20 years altogether. If this is your service level.
