Telkom disappointed

Danielle Rossouw I would Please need to know Ive got this Telkom sim card on the road which the people gives you for free I've had this number for 5 years i got it on the road after 5 years of using my sim didn't wanted to read anymore something with the chip . I went to Telkom to do a sim swap they told me at Telkom I couldn't do a sim swap course the number wasn't register on a south African Identity document. I told the consultant I was the first person using this sim card she told me that people aren't supposed to take sim cards that they give for free they must buy one in the Telkom shops. But I want to know how can they let people give out that sim cards on the road when they know it's registered on other people's names that's ***** and can't allow people standing on the roads and gives out that sim cards. My friends srd was registered on that number now he can't get his money course I can't do a sim swap and lastly I maybe lost a few jobs course that number was on my CV as well I'm so disappointed in Telkom why does they allow these people on the road
