Telkom "device obligation / carryover" ridiculous fee

Today I've got the shock of my life when my Telkom added an additional R5918 to my bill for "device obligation / carryover"!!!!! What the hell Telkom? Where does this amount come from. This is ridiculous! My phone contract is literally R369 pm. I'm really infuriated.
