Telkom device insurance underwriten by Old Mutual is the worst

I submitted my claim with Telkom device insurance and I have been waiting for feedback since the 17th of October. After about 9 emails I get a response that the claim is with the underwriters then I reply asking how long will the underwriters take to process the claim as this is taking rather too long and it’s frustrating to not have a cellphone for almost 2 weeks as a parent who’s children are still in school and cannot be reachable should anything happen. You guys are able to request information on a Saturday yet tell me that it takes 7-14 working days, it’s been 11 days without a cellphone and all I’m getting is “we will revert back to you” , how is it that 1 claim takes more than 2 weeks to process. Anything that’s underwritten by Old Mutual is BAD.This is unprofessional and unacceptable. Your customer service is of a poor standard and I’m immediately cancelling all my contracts with Telkom after this mess and never returning 😡😡😡
