Telkom de*****ing customers

Out of the blue December 2021 I suddenly get a bill from telkom? Then monthly up until now. small amounts, R16,R30,R19. I call to query - they say I have an active telkom mobile account? How is this possible when I never signed for anything or asked for anything?? I was last a customer of theirs in 2015 and cancelled a fixed line service 2017. It is bizarre. Is this not *****??? just debiting money from my account???
