Telkom default got me without a vehicle

Default on my ITC, because they don't know how to stop an account after full payment. Apparently they need 30 days to stop an account they already themselves stopped. Did final payment and told them not to reconnect. Got all references as I knew I had the same problem before. After a few months I received a call from lawyers. I told them everything and nothing happened. At least the last lady filled a dispute and Telkom credited my account but not the full amount, but only on sms with a reference number. Can't get hold of anybody to settle this matter. And the default on my ITC prevent me from buying a car as mine is a write off

A default listing can be done via pbVerify when: A valid signed credit agreement is in place. The client has been given 90 days to settle their debt. A section 129 letter/final demand letter has been sent to the customer, if they have not paid within the said 90 days. 20 working days after final demand letter was submitted, the customer can then be listed on pbVerify.

After a long battle and dispute, I still had to pay them R147. 67 which I did, against my will but just to get rid of them. So basically they stole it from me, I owe them not R0.00. At least they, or Trans Union took of the default from my name. Make sure of your ITC and dispute asap. Telkom ??? #telkom
