Telkom declines contract but sends statements

I app**** for a Telkom mobile contract and was informed it had been declined but I keep getting statementts every month saying I owe the R4 280 18. Every time I receive them I call the call center, and hold for hours to be told that they are logging a request for the amount to be removed. One of the call center agents even hung up on me today. They cannot explain what the money is for since I never had a contract with Telkom. Now my credit rating reflects that I have an agreement with Telkom amd sereral attempts to speak to a Telkom supervisor have been futile. Every time I called the call center Inhave been put on hold for hours and keep being told the same thing but there is no resolution
