Telkom debited my account despite me cancelling my debit order, then charged me a R200.94 penalty Debit order/Cheque levy

<p>Telkom debited my account despite me cancelling my debit order, then charged me a R200.94 penalty Debit order/Cheque levy - Account ********** 08401</p> <p> </p> <p>I phoned Telkom and cancelled my debit order in the middle of August 2016 of which the agent assured me that my debit order was cancelled. I paid my telkom account via easy pay on 22 August 2016 Receipt Ref ********** . Telkom thereafter debited my account on 31 August 2016 of which was rejected thereafter on 03 September 2016 as I raised this with my bank. I was then charged a penalty of R200.94 even though the account was paid and Telkom debited me incorrectly. Please advise? </p>
