Telkom Debit Order Cancellation
I've attempted to have a debit order cancelled for my profile for 3 months now, unsuccessfully so and have been slammed with rejection fees. I have switched banks to Tyme Bank from FNB and when I attempted to change banking details to Tyme Bank I was told Telkom does not recognize the bank.
I then requested for the debit order on the FNB account be cancelled as I no longer use that account anymore. I have been charged R200 for the past 3 months for a rejection fee. In total an extra R600 up to now for something I have no control over and that Telkom does not want to cancel.
I have made another attempt to have the debit order cancelled today after being notified that my service will be interrupted today, which is now the case, without having received a single sms/email notification the whole month of October that there was a shortfall in payment for the month of September.
I have already cancelled one of my contracts with them already ending November and am left with another two. Seriously considering cancelling the rest because the service is simply unacceptable for a company of it's size and I am not willing to find out if the service improves anytime soon.
Goodbye Telkom, it hasn't been a fun ride.
