Telkom debit account for a service that was canceled
I am beyond frustrated with Telkom, here goes my story with them. A lady called me to offer their contracts and i told the lady i am fine however i can take the sim only contract on the condition that my current number must be migrated to the new simcard as i do not want a new number. The lady ensured that it will be done i must contact the number on the envelop when the delivery came. So i did phone and they promised that it will be done and my current sim card will stop working once migrated. I was following up with them for weeks as my current sim was still working and everything promised to call back and i spoke to 10 different consultants assuring me that they see my request on their system so i don't need to worry it will be done. I got tired to call them for the same thing so i decided to cancel the whole thing and i made it clear that i am not paying cancelation fees as i did my part and it's them that failed me. Once again i was promised someone will call me from dispute department and i never got the call, boom the money goes off my account. I called again spoke to the lady that logged a complaint for me and she even forwarded the email to me showing that she sent the email and i was told to wait for a call and still no one called. My problem is that now Telkom continues to debit my account and i am the one that needs to pay reversal charges. I decided to move my money from that account now i am sitting with unpaid debits on my account and that affects my credit record and my risk grading in the bank... I want this solved as soon as possible... I will not change my account because of telkom, they can see i am not using their sim card so why debiting my account and the contract was supposed to be R100 now they taking R400. 01 what is that for, i would like someone to contact me.
