Telkom ****************

I am subscribed to the Telkom Mobile Unlimited contract, which entails the provision of unlimited data and voice calls by Telkom for the fee of R 1599 per months. My initial contract lapsed early this year and they immediately put me on month to month, whilst they kept asking me to upgrade. I was a bit hesitant to do so at first due to the poor quality of their network, however they managed to re assure me that they are continuously improving their network and that things were getting better, so I eventually agreed and upgraded.<br> <br> Initially they charged me R 2 599.00 for the month immediate after upgrading. When I queried this I was told that I have 2 handsets of which I rejected, then they came up with some pro-rata story, of which I disputed because it meant the for that period I was paying for 2 contracts. Once they understood this conceded that they will rectify the matter with the accounts department. Nothing happened, they simply debited the R 2 599.Now last week Friday, they sent me a statement indicated a further R 8 800 fee, I must pay for \early termination". When I called on I was told that their systems are down. I am sure nothing will be done"
