Telkom customer service call center agents
Called into telkom customer care home move department on the 17 March 2022 requesting a relocation on my home wifi service, was assisted by a male and advised they will switch off my service at the current property within 48 hours and the service at the new address will be activated in 7 to 12 days. Called in on the 28 March 2022 at 17:12 was assisted by a female who had advised they system is down and placed me on hold for 43 mins then hung up the call without informing me anything 3 mins before the call center was closed for the day. Called in the very next morning and was told the order was not placed asked if she could place the order and was told they systems are down. After waiting 20 mins for a manager to come on the line she promised to get the the order placed and that I will be contacted the same day, which didn't happened. I then called in after 3 pm was then told the system was down again. Requested for a manager to get on the line again and was assisted by a male manager who eventually manage to place the order and provide me with a order reference. Telkom is a well established service provider for many years what I can't understand is how they have agents speaking to customer as if they are paying us to use the service and hang up everything we call and always have system issues. What is telkom superiors doing abt the ********** customer service provided by their staff in the call center. And to top it off it's now the 02 April I still don't have my wifi activated at my new place and no one has contacted me back from telkom with and date of activation. After all this I have to call telkom to ask for compensation for my loss of service.
