Telkom ********* : Worst sevice provider ever

<p>I recently bought a Mac book from telkom on contract. Completed my application at Lake mall Centurion. I sent in all the required documentation and provided CORRECT banking details. I was informed that monthly payments would be via debit order paid in arrears.</p> <p>A Month after receiving the Mac no deduction was made by the service provider. So as an outstanding individual i called telkom to find out why no money had been deducted.</p> <p>The agent and I discovered that my banking details had been initially captured incorrectly on the system. The agent told me that a case needed to be logged concerning this matter, gave me banking details so i could make an EFT payment in the mean while.</p> <p>Month two i was faced with the same problem. I called in again to find that my banking details were still incorrect. Again I did an EFT payment and yet again told another complaint will be logged. My invoice at this time was reflecting an amount of R45 that i was told was for interest that was charged for initial non-payment which is clearly not my fault.</p> <p>This Morning telkom deducted an amount of R900 from my account without my acknowledgement and when i called the call centre to enquire about this, i was told by a very rude Telkom agent that failure to pay the R45 interest my contract will be suspended until payment is made. I told her that i would reverse the R900 deduction and I WILL NOT PAY the R45.</p> <p>so many terms of the contract have been breached in my opinion by telkom .Because of the negligence of a Telkom staff member i have had to deal with this drama at my expense. It’s funny how when you need assistance from Telkom you need to get a case number and wait 100 years before getting assistance but it’s so easy for Telkom to take money out of my account without my knowledge and without sending any form of invoice to me.</p> <p>This is a ******** act and i will be contacting consumers protection in order to fight back at the Telkom bullies. I am enough with these people. They are *********</p> <p> </p>
