Telkom Cresta staff ***********

It has become the norm in this country that things aren't done right the first time. Something as simple as cancelling my data contract is too difficult to get right the first time. My request just fell through the cracks and now I have to sort out Telkom's mess.

I requested a few weeks into January 2017 that my Data contract must be cancelled (Case ********** 6). They told me that the last debit order will be end of February 2017. Today I received a bill for February and a debit order that will go off end of March. I spoke to someone at the call center. He told me that he can see the case that was logged on the 21st of January to state that the contract must be cancelled. He told me the person did not do his/her job at the Cresta shop and that I must go to the shop to sort this out. He said all he can do is send an email to the shop (and CC his manager on the email) asking them to call me to sort this out. Not sure if the email was ever send seeing that I was told that I can't be CC'ed on the email, and eventually after holding for a while the call was cut off. But the email does not sort out my issue. Why do I now have to stand in a cue, that takes forever, and waste my time to sort out the issue that was cause by Telkom Cresta's staff incompetence.

I really hope they take note of this complaint, sort out my issue, and get their act together.

Phone the call centre today. My contract has still not been cancelled and no feedback from Cresta's Telkom Shop. Customer care consultant says she can't help me. What else must I do to get feedback or cancel my contract!!!
