Telkom contract sim card not active

I took 2x contract with Telkom, received my phone and 2x sim cards but 1 phone had to use the old telkom sim. Am told they will do sim swap on new sim and now 5 days later. Am told the sim is damaged and went to the store and they gave me another sim card and sim doesn't work.
