Telkom contract phones/tablets deals suck

Dear All, Pls be aware of TELKOM mobile contract phones for Huawei tablet. I recently signed for a contract of R299 for Huawei tablet. I am being charged over R1000 for this contract. The reason I even chose Telkom as my netwrok to begin with . .is for the free calls for Telkom to Telkom no's. I am now being charged big bucks to make calls Telkom to Telkom. I called the Telkom help line on 081 180 & the agent was unable to advise why I was paying more than the agreed amount of R299 per month & the agent cut my call. I emailed an agent & did not receive any feedback regarding this query either. I now after just having this contract tablet after 2 months must pay over R6000's to cancel this contract. Either way I was going to loose out since the contract bill states to pay over R1000's per month. The spend limit I was advised was set on R500s which is ridiculous since I am only calling Telkom cell no's . . not even other network providers. Wheew Telkom has given me a severe headche lately. I even went in store to resolve this query & was advise the system was offline for 2 days. Really why should I pay for Telkom to Telkom calls when this is the only reason I chose this network provider. Poor service from the staff & high bills have made me decide to end my contract phone deals for future. I will never sign another new contract phone with Telkom ever again. Unless I am looking for a new headache when I open the invoice each month. Can I just pay for what I signed for. It is always some issue over the last couple of months. Even with previous contract no. I fell in the same trap twice. Thousands of rands later. . I am declaring not to give away anymore donations to Telkom from my pocket in the form of the Telkom bill. Haibo. I wish I could not even give 1 star. . . nothing but disappointment & frustration. regards, unhappy customer
