Telkom contract not done according to my requirement

Today I phoned Telkom customer care to cancel my month to month contract because I wanted to reduce my expenses and I was told I have a 24 month contract instead of a month to month contract. I want telkom to sort this out because when I visited their branch in Pietermaritzburg Woodburn Mall and my conversation with the consultant that helped me my conversation with him was that I wanted a month to month contact. The consultant clearly misled me and gave me a 24 month contract maybe to benefit himself because when I signed the agreement I knew that I was signing for a month to month contract. As a long time telkom customer I trusted telkom with their service even after a ********** contract was taken using my personal details I still remained as their loyal customer.
