TELKOM contract cancellation failure

Why is it so hard to cancel a contract? I will never understand these companies. I have been trying to cancel my wifi contract for so long now. On the site they direct you to a cancellation page which then says call 081180. I call the number, complete the promts and then the phone cuts!!! this happens multiple times. Eventually on one day i get through, i get told to cancel on the website. What an absolute joke!!!
