Telkom Contract bad network provider

I started using Telkom back in 2*** I took out a cell phone contract with my vodacom number ***.paid off the 24 months and continued paying the insurance which was finrite that time, the annoying part about telkom sales assistance never explain the whole contract after signing bcos they after commission on consumer rights. Telkom is reaping us off year in and year out. If you don't struggle with claiming your phone they change insurance under righters every year.

It's unfortunate that since I was their consumer, I canceled my insurance January 2023 but they kept sending bills.

I happen to lose my phone on the 24th of October 2023 and only than I hear from the call center I'm in arears. My cell phone number has been active for more than 15 years and telkom has the nerve to block my number. My whole life got ruined becos I couldn't use my number since 24 October 2023 till today the call center agents are telling me different stories.

How is it fair that I must pay money on a number I come with and a contract I finish led off paying years ago.

I can't log into my ****** email address becos it's linked to my number. I missed on business deals and job interviews becos of the lies Telkom sales assistance and call center agents.

I still called them today 14 December trying to understand how do I owe Telkom? They telling me I never finished paying off my contract. I hate telkom I regret the day I ported my number to them.

I'm unemployed, I have kids to feed and clothe and naw I must gather money I don't owe to Telkom, you people deserve to close down entirely cos I know I'm not the only customer being abused.

I have to Pay R700 to get my number back, my kids won't get christmas clothes, gifts and food becos of selfish people who don't think about their commission greed.
