Telkom contract

I ordered a contract phone and sim online in 2020 they ended up delivering the sim only. I called telkom to ask about the phone they where supposed to deliver aswell then i was told they apologize i no longer qualify for a phone. I asked what should i do with a sim was told to dispose it which i did few months they started deducting money from my acc i enquired via email but told me that i should pay for the contract sim i refused because was told to dispose it. Now 3 years later revieved an email from some lawyers to pay R1700 for the contract i rep**** back to them still no answer till now..telkom its the worst ever
