Telkom contract "7 day cooling off period"

I recently opened a contract at Telkom in store and I wasn't sure of the device i was getting as there was only a dummy model in the store.i had asked the sales consultant if I would be able to return the device should I not be happy with it and he assured me I could. Now that I've had a couple of days of use ,I feel the camera is just not as advertised and this was my main purpose to getting this handset.Upon chatting to the same sales consultant as well as the call centre...I'm told there is no 7day cooling off period and it only applies if you purchased the device online.He specifically told me before I took this contract that I would have 7days to return it.I feel I was ******* into taking this contract.Had I known I wasn't able to return it,I wouldn't have rushed into buying this device.Telkom truly sucks and I would advice on doing proper research before you bound in a 24 month contract.Trying to get someone to assist with the matter is just a complete nightmare.
