Telkom contract.

To whom it may concern...my name is Cj Blignaut and in 2021 I was retrenched! I had a Telkom account which consists of two contracts! The month after I was retrenched I contacted them regarding my account to ask if it's possible to freeze my account for the time being till I am able to get a new job! I even send my retrenchment forms, went instore, send emails and made calls to no prevail just to sit with a blacklisted name and R33000 of dept! Nobody helped me, nobody gave me a clue as to what to do, they blocked my numbers and the bill just accumulated! Today I phone again to sort this out and the lady whom helped me (Martha) said that R33000 is my full amount, I need to pay it and my account is canceled! When I paid the full amount my name will only then be cleared! And she said I was supposed to cancel my account in the beginning for it not to be so high! No what stand me to do here since nobody helped me, I'm only 20 years old, this is the first time things like this happens to me so they were supposed to help and guide me since they are the one's getting the salary for it! They made the mistake and now I must pay?? Can someone please assist me in this matter, thank you and kind regards, Cj
