Telkom continues to ***** money from my LTE account after account has been cancelled

I obtained an LTE internet account with Telkom while I lived in South Africa from 2 ********** . When I was leaving South Africa, I cancelled the account by submitting a cancellation from as advised, and I also paid off the remaining contract and hardware balance. I switched of my LTE router and have not used it since. All of a sudden, in October 2017, Telkom started debiting from my bank account R299.00 for services related to the LTE router. The invoice that was sent to me also included data usage statistics, although the LTE router was off. Telkom was clearly *****ing money from my account. I approached them to find out what was going on and did not receive any response on the matter, until last month when I was in South Africa I went to the Telkom customer service centre to follow up on the matter. I was told there had been an error on their part and that they would cancel the account. I then finally received a response to my e-mail from over a year ago, confirming that my account had been cancelled. Even so, I have now received an invoice requesting payment for December 2017, even though I requested to cancel the account at the end of 2015, and any debits or invoices since then can be construed as ********** and malicious on the part of Telkom. I have contacted Telkom once again to query this latest invoice and to reverse any charges debited on my bank account, but yet again there has been no response and no conclusion. I am extremely annoyed and disappointed in this service, as it shows that not only are staff at Telkom not paying attention to accounts that have been cancelled, but they are also actively *****ing funds from customer accounts by "ignoring" cancellation requests. I will be taking this up with my lawyers, and I do not recommend that any consumers use Telkom's LTE service!
