Telkom continues to ignore their paying customers

There is nothing I can say about Telkom that people don't already know and haven't experienced themselves. I have emigrated - I am no longer in South Africa. I received my final Telkom account, and for some reason, Telkom decided to not send my itemized billing, as they have been doing for many years. I need the itemized billing to verify my account, before settling. I have e-mailed *** numerous times - often daily. All I get is a reference number, and then a day or two later they send an e-mail telling me that it's been attended to. They don't say what's been attended to. I have e-mailed a specific lady in retentions. She says I must speak to 10210 (remember, I'm out of the country, and they ignore my e-mails). I've engaged with Telkom on Facebook. A horrible, useless experience, which ends with them telling me either 1. they have e-mailed my account (I asked for itemized billing, not an account, but it's irrelevant because it never reaches me), or 2. they have escalated for attention, which also never happens. So my question to any Telkom official who is interested is this - I'm trying to give you my money, but you're not making it possible for me to pay you. What do I do? Seeing as I'm no longer in the country, is it OK for me to shun my responsibility and just hope that you'll write this off as a bad debt? That's not the way I operate, but you're forcing me to become a delinquent customer. Tell me why you are being so obstructive and are preventing me from settling my debt.

I'm still waiting for an acknowledgement from Telkom.
Is it possible that they really care so little about their customers?
