Telkom continue to ignore written instructions to Cancel my landline + ADSL line rental

I cancelled my ADSL line with Afrihost in December 2017, which they actioned at the end of Jan 2017.

However, despite having sent a written, signed cancellation instruction to Telkom twice, on 31 December 2017 and on 1 Feb 2018, Telkom continue to and to ignore my written cancellation instruction.

I will not be paying Telkom for this line.

Tumelo from Telkom did follow up privately to obtain my phone / account number on 10 April, which I provided, but still no further action from Telkom. Seemingly, Telkom seems to ignore all cancellation requests (or there cancellation email box is permanently full and won't receive new) - discussion here : https://www.fibretiger.co.za/article/howto-cancel-your-telkom-line. I also went through to the local Telkom branch, and they said that Cancellation can't be done in person, must be done via the form. It looks like total ***** - my situation is turning out like this one here : https://www.hellopeter.com/telkom/reviews/telkom-*****s-my-money-and-ruins-my-credit-score- **********

Subsequent to me sending out the email below I did receive a follow up call from Ivor from your call centre, and after a pleasant chat, we all agreed that I had indeed Cancelled my service at the beginning of the year, and that Telkom mechanism for cancelling services was very broken. Although the line rental fees charged by Telkom have been reversed out, Telkom is now attempting to charge me the following: R316.68 for August Subscription R260.21 Reconnection Fee R225.15 Notification Fee What part of 'cancel all Telkom services' isn't clear? Telkom just doesn't GET IT! I cancelled my subscription on 31 December. I am NOT paying for ANY of your services, nor will I ever make use of ANY Telkom services every again in my life.
